Substation fit-out, delivered and handed over
A selection of earlier packages, most of them internal fit-out on transmission substations for tier-1 contractors. This is the work that built the systems and crews we bring to energy projects across England and Scotland today.
Beauly 400/275/132kV Substation
Full internal fit-out: blockwork, drylining and joinery, timber suspended ceilings and kitchen, fire doors with ironmongery, painting, spraying and taping including anti-slip floor painting, and firestopping and fireproofing works.
Kintore 400kV Substation (Phase 2)
Full internal fit-out: system scaffold installation, brickwork and blockwork, joinery, timber and suspended grid ceilings and kitchen, fire doors with ironmongery, painting, spraying and taping including acid-resistant painting, and firestopping and fireproofing works.
New Deer 400/275kV Substation (Moray East)
We managed the internal fit-out: drylining and joinery, earthing steel mesh installation, painting, spraying and taping, firestopping and fireproofing works, and fitting of external GRP panels.
Alyth 275kV Substation
Full internal fit-out: blockwork, drylining and joinery, timber suspended ceilings and kitchen, earthing steel mesh installation, fire doors with ironmongery, painting, spraying and taping including acid-resistant painting, and firestopping and fireproofing works.
Shetland 132kV Substation (Kergord & Viking HVDC)
Internal fit-out for the Shetland substation, including drylining and joinery works.
Kinardochy Substation
Full internal fit-out: blockwork, drylining and joinery, timber suspended ceilings and kitchen, earthing steel mesh installation, steel fire doors with ironmongery, painting, spraying and taping including acid-resistant painting, and firestopping and fireproofing works.
Rothienorman Substation
Full internal fit-out: blockwork, drylining and joinery, fire doors with ironmongery, painting and taping including anti-slip and acid-resistant painting, and firestopping and fireproofing works.
Welfare and Office at Willowdale Place
Renovation of an old building for use as a welfare and office during the works at Willowdale GSP Substation: demolition, drylining and joinery, suspended grid ceilings and kitchen, plumbing and electrical works, painting and taping, floor laying and a fire risk assessment.
Glen Garioch Distillery
For Beam Suntory, with Luddon Construction.
We carried out the full internal fit-out for the new office within the old distillery building, including:
- Demolition works
- Groundworks
- Drylining and joinery, suspended grid ceilings and kitchen
- Plumbing
- Fire door installation
- Painting and taping, including hygienic floor painting
- Diamond core drilling
Ardmore Distillery
For Suntory Global Spirits, with Luddon Construction.
A specialist package: diamond core drilling works at the Ardmore Distillery.
Community and commercial works
Windows Replacement Project (HIP)
Window replacement in Peterhead as part of the Home Improvement Programme (HIP): a large number of windows replaced, with finishing around every window internally and externally.
Morrison Repairs
Repair works for the Morrison supermarket in Aberdeen for our client HB Projects, including external render repairs.
